Berwick students dominate the top ten in international business simulation competition

Five teams of business and commerce students from the Berwick campus have used their business nous to beat more than 130 teams from some of the world's leading universities in an online business simulation competition. Part of their third year studies in strategic management, the teams demonstrated outperformed their competitors with all five companies finishing in the top ten. Read more

 

Campus IT researchers build multi-touch display technology for true collaborative learning

Researchers from the Faculty of Information Technology have re-imagined the use of multi-touch technology to enable true collaborative learning for students. Led by Dr Michael Morgan and Matthew Butler, with software development from current and former Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems (multimedia applications) students, the Berwick campus team has built a large-scale multi-touch display talbe and is designing software that supports multiple users. Join the DoTS to success: Studying the Diploma of Tertiary Studies at Berwick and Peninsula

With an ENTER of 50 or above, the Diploma of Tertiary Studies (DoTS) could be your pathway to a degree at Monash University.

DoTS is a one-year pathway program leading to a degree offered at the Berwick and Peninsula campuses. Students receive extra study support and take first year subjects from the degree programs offered by the Faculties of Arts, Business and Economics, Education, Information Technology and Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.

Information sessions will be held at the Berwick and Peninsula campuses on Thursday 17 December. Opportunities at both campuses will be discussed in both sessions to help you explore your pathway options further. Find out more about the information sessions here

 

Berwick multimedia student's big (bang) moment

A Monash IT student from the Berwick campus with a talent for visually communicating big-bang science has won an international multimedia competition and intership that will see him participate in one of the most anticipated scientific events ever. Read more

 

Multimedia on show: Berwick School of Information Technology student exhibition

The graduating class of 2009 will be presenting their work to their industry peers and supporters Thursday 5 November. A diverse range of multimedia work including 3D, animation, game design, digital video, educational applications, web applications, database programming and Flash Development will be on show.Read more
