STUDY TAX OR CORPS LAW IN PRATO, ITALY IN JUNE/JULY

Are you intending to do BTW3221 Taxation Law and Practice or BTW2220 Corporations Law and Trusts in the near future?

If so, you may wish to consider studying them at Monash's Italian campus at Prato during the mid-year break. Both will be taught at Prato this year between June 26 and July 14.

RQF INFORMATION SESSION

Further to Lionel Frost's flagging of the Research Quality Framework (RQF) as an important activity for all staff to engage with this year, Professor Max King (PVC, Research & Research Training) and Professor Rob Brooks (Acting Deputy Dean (Research), BusEco) have kindly agreed to provide a presentation and lead a discussion on "How it will work”.

FREE LECTURE ON INVESTMENT STRATERGIES

The Monash University Berwick Business and Education Group (MUBBEG) are hosting a FREE Public Lecture on Investment Strategies. Local experts will present information on a number topics relating to investment strategies.

SCHEDULED IT POWERDOWN – 17 MARCH TO 19 MARCH 2006

A number of university wide computer services will be unavailable between 6:00pm Friday 17th March until 6:00pm Sunday 19th March. Where possible, services will be restored earlier.

The service interruption is unavoidable and necessary for maintenance work on the electrical power systems supporting the computer room's infrastructure.

Unavailable Student Services include:

  • Print Management Services - Printing will remain available however students will not be able to add credit to their print account or access print usage reports
  • Wireless Network Access (from Saturday)
  • Allocate Plus
  • Audio Visual Streaming from the web
  • FTP Access

The Monash Permit Parking System will apply at Berwick Campus from this year onwards. Information pertaining to fees and sales times is available on the Berwick Campus website http://www.berwick.monash.edu.au/Parking/index.html .
