Semester One 28 February - 3 June
Easter Break 25 March - 1 April
Monday 21 March Student Survival Week commences (Australian campuses only).
Thursday 31 March Semester one census date. Last day to discontinue semester one units without showing discontinue on record or incurring fees.

Please note: Library closed over Easter   The library will be closed between Friday 25th - Tuesday 29th March 2005. The library re-opens the 30th March with normal opening hours 8.30am -6.00pm.

In the past 12 months, 4 Berwick BusEco staff members have completed their PhDs.

They are:  

Dr Mike Willis (Marketing)
Dr Andrea Howell (Management)
Dr Martin Samy (Accounting and Finance)
Dr Jan Schapper (Management)  

Congratulations to these staff members and their supervisors.    

Work Experience Program

Thankyou to all students who attended the information session on Tuesday 15 March 05.

The Student Application forms – endorsed by a staff member and including a current resume need to be returned to Judy Parker, Community Projects Officer by the 31st March, 2005.

Forms can be dropped off at Rm 130G (Accounting & Finance Corridor, last office) or placed into the mailbox opposite the Faculty of Business & Economics Student Service Area.

Any eligible students who were unable to attend the information session and would like to join the program can obtain a Student Application form from the Student Services Faculty Office or by emailing judith.parker@buseco.monash.edu.au

The Quiet Room

 

You are warmly invited to the official opening of "The Quiet Room" on Wednesday April 6th at 4 pm outside Room 145, Building 901. The short ceremony will be followed by light refreshments on the Mezzanine.

Student Survival Week

Look out for Student Survival Week commencing Monday 21 March. Student Survival Week provides you with answers to all those questions you may have after experiencing your first few weeks of university life. Seek out tips and advice from current staff and students on healthy living, cheap living, international assistance, life on-campus, have I done the right thing (coming to uni?), exam tips and how to manage study workload. Lots of freebies and food so come along!

 

Parking Information

The car park at the Berwick Campus is a gazetted car park and is covered under the Road Safety (general) regulations 1999.

As of Monday 21st March parking Infringement notices will be issued at the Berwick Campus.

Please ensure your vehicle is correctly parked and the appropriate permit (for coloured & accessible parking bays) is displayed.
