WELLBEING BREAKFAST AT BERWICK

Vice-Chancellor, Professor Richard Larkins invites you to join with him, via video link, for a healthy breakfast to celebrate “Wellbeing Happens at Monash”.

CAREER ESSENTIALS @ BERWICK CAMPUS

Monash University Careers and Employment invites you to attend the Berwick Campus “Career Essentials” program; a one-day insider’s guide to effective employment preparation.

  • Are you in your PENULTIMATE or FINAL year of study?
  • Would you like to be more prepared for graduate positions in 2006?

MUBBEG BUSINESS BREAKFAST

The next function for the Monash University Berwick Business and Education Group (MUBBEG) is a Business Breakfast on Friday 30 September 2005 from 7.00 am – 8.30am in Room 1139, Building 903.

Mr. Mike Tyler, Chief Executive Officer, City of Casey will speak on the topic 'Growth of the City of Casey’

The cost of the breakfast will be $22.00 per head or you can become a member of MUBBEG for the rest of the year for $55.00. This one off payment will entitle you to attend 2 Business Breakfasts and 2 Business Seminars.

BERWICK CAMPUS STAFF SPORTS

Campus Community Committee invites you to take part in the ‘Pre Commonwealth Games’ which will be held on Monday 19 September 2005 in the quadrangle between buildings 902 and 903 from 1PM – 2PM.

Each Faculty or Department will form as many teams comprising of 6 persons as they like to take part in the Egg and Spoon Relay, Balloon Races, Gumboot Throw and the Tunnel Ball.

MONASH UNIVERSITY RUGBY GAMES 2005

Two people from Monash Berwick hit the headlines in Monash University Rugby Club's 2005 award dinner held on Saturday 3 September.

Luc Borrowman (First year, Berwick student) was named ‘Most Improved Player’ in the A Grade Rugby Team. This was Luc's first year in the club and he has made a huge impact starting from the B Grade Team and progressing to the A Grade Team. He also represented Monash University at the Southern University Games and will represent Monash at the Australian University Games held in Brisbane from the 25th of September to the 1st of October.

Glen Croy, a staff member of the Tourism Research Unit at Berwick, was named the ‘Best Clubman’ for 2005. This was in recognition for his efforts to build an even better culture for the club.



MUBS END OF YEAR BALL

All Monash Berwick staff are invited to the End of Year Ball.

Date: Saturday 15 th October 2005
Time: 7.00 pm - 12.30 am
Place: Carlton Crest Hotel.

Three Course Meal includes: Sparkling, White & Red Wine, Beer, Soft Drink, Vodka, Scotch, Whiskey, Baccardi, Tea, coffee and orange juice.

$75 for Monash students
$85 for Non-Monash students

($30 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit required upon booking. Photo Identification required at the door.)
