COMMUNITY FITNESS EVENTS

Monash University Campus Life and Professor Phillip Steele (Academic Director) have the pleasure of inviting you to unveil the Community Fitness Events Program on the Berwick campus. The events program includes participation in Around the Bay in a Day cycling event, The Singapore Marathon, The Melbourne Marathon Festival and The Portsea Swim Classic.

ANIMATION SYMPOSIUM

You are invited to attend an Animation Symposium featuring presentations by Dr Craig Norris (Faculty of Arts), Tom Chandler and Dr Marian Quigley (Faculty of IT); and two prominent Australian animators: Ms Anne Jolliffe and Ms Antoinette Starkiewicz.

The presentations are followed by the launch of Dr Marian Quigley's book “Women Do Animate: Interviews with 10 Australian Women Animators” (Insight Publications) at 6pm in the Ground Foyer of Building 901.

DEAF DEAF WORLD WORKSHOP

Deaf Deaf World is a valuable learning resource for professionals to gain an insight into the lives of Deaf people. This workshop is hosted by the Victorian Council for the Deaf. It is hands-on, practical and best of all FUN!

You will gain a better understanding of:

  • The diversity of Deaf people
  • Communication strategies
  • Resources and services to refer clients & friends

SCHOOLS ACCESS MONASH

As a part of the Schools Access Monash Program Year 10 and Year 12 student s from Cranbourne Secondary College visited the Berwick Campus last week.Students were treated to lunch at the cafeteria and then attended talks by all three faculties regarding courses available at Berwick, entry requirements and career paths.At the end of the sessions Berwick students conducted campus tours and shared their experience of studying at Berwick.



MUBS END OF YEAR BALL

All Monash Berwick staff are invited to the End of Year Ball.
