BERWICK BOOKSHOP

Students please note the Bookshop has now been relocated to Room G55 (Building 902, Corridor behind the student lounge).

The Bookshop offers stamps (local & international), cartridges for printers, cards & wrapping paper, Monash logo gifts and t-shirts, film for digital videos and much more. The bookshop also sells cloth Monash bags for only $2.95 ea.

The Bookshop is opened from 10 AM - 4 PM



BLOOD DONATION

The Australian Red Cross Blood Service mobile unit will be at Berwick Secondary College, Manuka Road, Berwick on Friday 2nd September from 9.45 am – 3.15pm.

IT CAREERS EXPO

Chisholm Institute of TAFE and Monash Berwick held an IT Careers Day on Thursday 21 July 2005. The day was split into two sessions. The morning session was held for Secondary School students and the afternoon session was held for IT students from TAFE and University.

The program included presentations from a number of IT professionals, University and TAFE staff and past students from both institutions who are currently employed in the IT industry. All participants were happy with the information they received on the day.



THE TWENTY MELBOURNE PAINTERS SOCIETY

Jenny Pihan Fine Art invites you to the opening night of “The Twenty Melbourne Painters Society” – 87th Annual Exhibition.

UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS

A prestigious forum on Sustainable Development, which is organised as part of a global partnership between the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and Bayer presents a unique opportunity for students to launch their career with a week long all–expenses paid trip to the Philippines.

Four Australian students will be selected from University and TAFE to attend the Asia–Pacific Eco-Minds youth forum in the Philippines from 26 – 31 October 2005 (all expenses paid). The forum will provide a unique opportunity for the students selected to learn from respected international leaders, visit ecological sites, be part of a UNEP youth network and potentially launch their career.

CAMPUS DRINKS

Staff of the Berwick Campus enjoyed a ‘Happy Hour’ with the Academic Director on Thursday 21 July 2005. Professor Phillip Steele and Marlene Mannays welcomed new staff members and provided a brief report on both academic and administrative matters relevant to the campus.

Recently a number of thefts have occurred on campus. Please keep an eye on your handbags, wallets and other valuables at all times. Contact the Student Services Centre for lost property enquiries.
