Draft Terms of Reference / Objectives

1. Create framework for the identification and management of innovative, regionally specific, educational programs and pathways designed to maximise learning opportunities and outcomes.
2. Contribute to the intellectual, economic and cultural development of the region by collaborative arrangements between education provision in the region.
3. Improve the relevance and effectiveness of education provision in the region.
4. Provide professional development activities for staff to support and improve the quality of educational provision in the region.
5. Maximise the opportunity for the provision of new resources, resource sharing and improving the utilisation of existing resources across the sectors to support improved education provision in the region.
6. Provide a comprehensive, integrated and coherent source of information on the education providers courses offered and educational pathways available in the region.
7. Market and communicate the educational activities within the region to promote community and industry engagement in education and training, to attract new including overseas and to source new resources for educational activities
