Faculty of Arts : Bachelor of Communication

What is communication?

Communication is concerned with both new and traditional communications technologies, such as print, film, television and electronic media.  At Monash Arts Berwick we aim to give you an understanding of the practical operation of the media, as well as the social and cultural dimensions of communications.  You will learn to critically analyse the media, while exploring the structure of communications industries and the relationship between media, culture and power.

The Berwick campus is the only Monash metropolitan campus to offer the Bachelor of Communication.  This gives our students the opportunity to graduate with a specialist degree that is well recognised by the communications industry staff.
