CoursesFaculty of Business and Economics : Bachelor of Business and Commerce/ Bachelor of Information Technology and SystemsThis course provides a foundation in business and information technology on which further advanced studies can be undertaken. The program comprises 18 business and commerce units (108 points), including six core units covering the main business disciplines and a major (at least eight units) in one of: accounting, business law, economics, human resource management, management or marketing. The information technology component comprises 18 information technology units (108 points), including seven core units and a major specialisation. the major varies according to campus - multimedia at Berwick, applications development or business systems at Gippsland, net-centric computing at Peninsula. Career Opportunities Students will be prepared for employment in many areas of business and information technology in an environment characterised by work mobility, transnational company structures and global systems. |
